Michael joined the MIT community back in May of 2018 for two years as an intern and then joined the office again in August of 2021. His main focus in the Office of the First Year is to create engaging and exciting programming for new students as well as serving as the Director of New Student Orientation. Michael is originally from Medford, MA just 4 miles north of MIT and now lives up in the beach town of Rockport, MA. He received his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from Merrimack College and went on to receive his Masters of Education in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Salem State University. Outside of work, Michael loves to spend time with his family and friends, cooking and baking, playing board games (or watching Jeopardy!), working out, and enjoying time in the sun!
