Online Advising Folder
Your Online Advising Folder is now available via this link. Your Online Advising Folder brings together information and testing results that will help you and your advisor choose subjects and plan your first year.
NOTE: First-year advisors will be able to access folders via WebSIS > For Advisors.
Your Folder will also provide the name and e-mail address of your advisor, your reported scores and any MIT credit or placement granted from: Advanced Placement (AP) examinations, International exams (e.g. GCE A-Level, International Baccalaureate, etc.), and any evaluated transfer credit, and if applicable, your Advising Seminar assignment or Terrascope acceptance status.
The folder also displays placement exam recommendations from the First-Year Essay Evaluation (FEE), the Math Self Assessment, and MIT Advanced Standing Examinations.
Accessing Your Folder
- You have access to your folder as of August 15, 2024.
- Access to your personal academic and financial records is limited to you and MIT officials who have a legitimate educational interest (for more information see MIT’s Student Information Policy). Given this policy, Folder access requires MIT Touchstone authentication via MIT Kerberos identity or MIT web certificates. Be sure to also register for MIT Duo two-factor authentication for Touchstone.
- Be sure to check your Folder to confirm that we have your scores before you register for classes.
- If information is missing, please follow the instructions provided on your Folder for having scores reported (e.g. if any AP scores are missing, you will find a direct link to the College Board website).
